Las Vegas Weekend Travel Guide
We had such a fun time in Las Vegas! We were there for two full days and I wanted to share with you all where we stayed and our favorite places to eat and things to do! Next time you are in Las Vegas, you have to check these places out! You will not be disappointed!
*We received some complimentary items in exchange for a review, as always all opinions are my own. You can read my full disclosures page at the bottom of this page*
Best Place to Stay: Tahiti Village
Their rooms are large and have a kitchenette and sofa bed, the pool and lazy river are both heated, they have an adult only hot tub, and the resort is as close to Tahiti as you can get in Vegas! It was perfect! We spent our day laying by the pool, lazy river, and ordering drinks! They also have a shuttle that goes every 30 minutes to the Strip which is less then 5 minutes away!
Things To Do:
Shopping! Of course one of the best things to do in Vegas is to go shopping! Our favorite shops are the Canal Shops at The Venetian and the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace! Las Vegas definitely doesn't have a shortage of shops!
When I was looking for a show to see, this one was on the top of my list and it did not disappoint! This is by far the best show in Vegas! Mat Franco was hilarious, magical, and we both didn't want it to end! His show was so interactive and it felt like everyone there knew each other because he was so friendly! We left and couldn't stop talking about all of the amazing things he did, from making wine bottles appear to pulling cards out of the air! It truly is a unique show every night and we would go see it again next time we visit Vegas in a heartbeat!
The High Roller
The views are spectacular and totally worth the price of admission! While you are down there, stop by Sprinkles and get yourself a cupcake! Easily the best cupcakes ever! If you are there after hours, try out their cupcake ATM!
The fountain show is beautiful and so peaceful! If you find yourself inside of this spectacular hotel, you will see the Conservatory! The setup and flower arrangements they have on display are beautiful!
One thing we knew we wanted to do was was get our photos taken on the strip! Courtney is a natural and made the entire session so fun! Not to mention her photos are absolutely stunning too! Whether you are traveling as a couple or a family if you are looking to have photos taken, Courtney is your girl! You can find her on Instagram here!
The Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. If you are really into Marvel and the Avengers, I totally recommend going here! If you are not a die hard fan, you probably won't think the hefty $40 entrance fee is worth guided tour. It was really neat though and even though we thought it was overpriced, Matt really enjoyed it!
Places to eat:
Located in the Linq, this is one of my favorite breakfast places in Vegas! They're portions are huge and delicious!
Holsteins Shakes & Buns This place is located in the Cosmopolitan and did not disappoint! They have so many unique burgers and their booze-shakes are over the top!
Matt & I are obsessed with baking shows, so naturally we HAD to visit Carlo's Bakery in the Venetian.
This is the best buffet that we have had in Las Vegas! Their food was amazing and they had such a great variety! Not to mention, their dessert bar was by far the biggest we have seen! From chocolate strawberries, to macaroons it was delicious! They also offer bottomless beverages for only $17!
