Dating Your Spouse- Night in Boxes
Our little Kennedy is almost a month old and it has been almost two months since Matt and I have had a date night! Between three kids under three, our jobs, and the business of life- we have had zero alone time! Luckily, I planned ahead! Everyone knows when you bring a new baby home usually the date nights get cut back on and your alone time is spent falling asleep to a movie. Date Night in a Box is the perfect answer to this busy season of life we are in! We get to have a date night in the comfort of our living room after the kids have gone to bed. No sitter required, no fancy outfits needed. Just the two of us enjoying each other and some peace and quiet! Honestly I might even prefer this over going out. Getting dressed up and going on a date is definitely fun, but there was something so fun and special about just the two of us having a good time together without anyone else around, any background noises, or distractions.
I was not financially compensated for this post however, I received a complimentary product for review. The opinions expressed are 100% my own.
So what are Night in Boxes?
It is a monthly subscription that you get in the mail that has all the items you need for an amazing date night at home! Each box has a different theme and includes 3 or more activities, ambiance, a curated dinner menu, music playlist, a snack, and more! You can see some of their previous sample dates here! They also have a faith night addition that includes a discussion guide with each date to deepen your relationship with God together!
Our date night box for this month was all about strong foundations! It included different challenges that all involved building a strong foundation together. Challenge one used popsicle sticks, challenge two used toothpicks and jelly beans, and challenge three used paper straws and tape! We had so much fun doing each challenge together!
Our first date night since Kennedy was the perfect evening we needed to put our busy schedules aside and spend some time together! It is so important to date your spouse, especially once you have kids! This box was so much fun to do together and I am so excited for our next date night box!
